2 cups milk
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 cup grated cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping)

1/4 cup frozen peas (optional)

Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add flour and stir to form a paste.
