12 oz penne pasta
3 cups marinara sauce
2 cups water or chicken broth
1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
1 tsp Italian seasoning
2 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic (minced)
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a large skillet or pot over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Stir in the marinara sauce and water (or chicken broth). Bring to a simmer.
Add the pasta, ensuring it is fully submerged in the liquid. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente.
