  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 medium carrots, sliced
  • 2 celery stalks, sliced

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 2 cups egg noodles

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts, broth, water, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, thyme, parsley, salt, and pepper in the crockpot.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  3. Remove chicken, shred with a fork, and return it to the crockpot.
  4. Add egg noodles to the crockpot, cover, and cook for another 20-25 minutes on high, until noodles are tender.
