This easy no-bake recipe is perfect for kids’ parties, Halloween, or any gathering where you want a unique, sweet treat. Serve it in a large dish or individual cups for a creative, crowd-pleasing presentation.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 cups milk
  • 2 packages (3.4 oz each) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 12 oz whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
  • Gummy worms (optional, for decoration)

Instructions

  • Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor until they resemble dirt. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and mix well.
  • In another bowl, whisk together milk and pudding mix until thickened. Fold in the whipped topping.
  • Combine the cream cheese mixture with the pudding mixture until well-blended.
  • In a serving dish, layer crushed Oreos with the pudding mixture, starting and ending with Oreos to create a “dirt” effect.
  • Garnish with gummy worms if desired. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, try using chocolate pudding instead of vanilla.
  • This dessert can be made a day ahead and refrigerated, which allows the flavors to meld even better.
  • Substitute some whipped topping with additional cream cheese for a richer flavor.
