Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  • Cut cheese into bite-sized cubes.
  • Set up a breading station with three bowls: flour in one, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs mixed with seasonings in the third.
  • Dip each cheese cube into the flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs, ensuring full coating.
  • Repeat the egg and breadcrumb coating for a crispier bite.
  • Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
  • Fry cheese bites in batches until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes.
  • Remove and drain on paper towels.
  • Serve warm with marinara sauce or your favorite dip.

Notes

  • Use frozen cheese cubes for better results and to prevent excessive melting.
  • Double coating helps create an extra crispy exterior.
  • Best served immediately for optimal texture.
