With garlic, Italian seasoning, and optional variations like smoked paprika or mozzarella, this dish is easy to prepare and full of savory goodness.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko or Italian-style)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for pan-frying or baking)
  • 1 tablespoon butter (optional, for extra richness)

Optional Add-ons/Variations:

  • 1/2 cup grated mozzarella (for a cheesy topping)
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) if baking.

  3. Brush pork chops with olive oil and coat them in the Parmesan mixture, pressing to adhere.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook pork chops for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown (or bake for 20-25 minutes).
  5. For extra richness, melt butter over the top during the last minute of cooking.
