Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Instructions

  • Marinate the Chicken:
    • In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and black pepper.
    • Add chicken thighs, ensuring they are well-coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2 hours.

    • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
    • Place marinated chicken thighs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  • Serve:
    • Transfer chicken thighs to a serving platter.
    • Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken overnight.
