  • 1 chocolate cookie pie crust
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup creme de menthe liqueur
  • 1/4 cup creme de cacao liqueur
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Green food coloring (optional)
  • Chocolate shavings or mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  • Add the powdered sugar and beat until well combined.
  • Gradually add the creme de menthe, creme de cacao, and vanilla extract, beating until smooth.
  • If desired, add a few drops of green food coloring and mix until evenly colored.
  • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
  • Pour the mixture into the chocolate cookie pie crust and smooth the top.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or until set.
  • Garnish with chocolate shavings or mint leaves before serving.

Notes

  • For a non-alcoholic version, substitute creme de menthe and creme de cacao with mint extract and a bit of milk or cream.
  • Ensure the whipped cream is gently folded in to maintain a light and airy texture.
  • The pie can be made a day ahead and stored in the refrigerator.
