1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, sliced thin
3 cups broccoli florets
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced (optional)
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon water (for slurry)
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
Cooked white or brown rice, for serving
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add chicken and stir-fry until no longer pink (4–5 minutes). Remove and set aside.
Add remaining oil and stir-fry garlic, ginger, and broccoli for 2–3 minutes.
Return chicken to the pan.
In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch slurry.
Pour sauce over chicken and broccoli, stir well, and cook until thickened (2–3 minutes).
