  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 packet dry Italian dressing mix
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Spread the uncooked rice evenly in the bottom of the baking dish.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, wine (if using), cream cheese, and Italian dressing mix until smooth.
  • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then place them on top of the rice in the baking dish.
  • Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken and rice, ensuring the rice is fully covered.
  • Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  • Remove foil, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese (if using), and bake uncovered for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and rice is tender.
