  • 1 ½ lbs ground beef
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices cooked and crumbled bacon
  • ½ cup diced onion
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ cup BBQ sauce (for topping)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, cheese, bacon, onion, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a loaf pan or on a lined baking sheet.
  • Spread BBQ sauce evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
  • Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  • Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
