  • 4 chicken thighs or drumsticks
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup honey
  • 1-2 tbsp hot sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In separate bowls, prepare flour, beaten eggs, and seasoned panko breadcrumbs (mix garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper with the breadcrumbs).
  3. Coat each chicken piece in flour, dip into the beaten eggs, and then coat with the panko mixture.
  4. Arrange the chicken on the baking sheet and lightly spray with oil.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. In a small saucepan, combine honey, hot sauce, and butter. Heat until melted and combined.
  7. Drizzle the hot honey sauce over the baked chicken and serve immediately.
