This baked shrimp with garlic lemon butter sauce is a quick and flavorful dish made with succulent shrimp, fresh lemon, and rich butter. It's perfect for a weeknight dinner or a crowd-pleasing appetizer.

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  • In a bowl, mix melted butter, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, pepper, paprika, and red pepper flakes.
  • Toss shrimp in the mixture until well coated.
  • Arrange shrimp in a single layer in the baking dish. Pour any remaining sauce over the shrimp.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until shrimp are pink and opaque.
  • Garnish with parsley and Parmesan (if using). Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Serve with pasta, rice, or crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
