1 red onion, cut into chunks
1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite variety)
2 tbsp olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes.
In a bowl, toss chicken cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Thread chicken, pineapple, bell peppers, and red onion onto skewers, alternating pieces.
Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
Place kabobs on the grill and cook for 10–15 minutes, turning occasionally.
During the last 5 minutes, brush BBQ sauce over the kabobs and let it caramelize.
Remove from grill and serve hot with extra BBQ sauce on the side if desired.
You can marinate the chicken in BBQ sauce for 30 minutes before grilling for extra flavor.
Use metal skewers for reusable, eco-friendly grilling.
