  • 4 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or cubed
  • 4 cups broccoli florets, steamed
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise or sour cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Steam the broccoli florets until tender, about 5 minutes. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, mayonnaise (or sour cream), milk, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Stir in the cooked chicken and steamed broccoli, then transfer the mixture into a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the cheddar and Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
  • In a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs with melted butter, then sprinkle the mixture over the casserole.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and the casserole is bubbly.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a healthier version, use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise or sour cream.
  • You can substitute the cream of chicken soup with homemade white sauce if preferred.
