  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped lettuce
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onions over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add taco seasoning and a little water (as directed on the seasoning packet) and cook until well combined.
  3. Warm the tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave until soft and pliable.
  4. Assemble each wrap by spreading a layer of beef mixture onto a tortilla, adding shredded cheese, salsa, lettuce, tomatoes, and olives.
  5. Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling and roll it up.
  6. Lightly grease a skillet with vegetable oil and cook each wrap seam-side down over medium heat until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  7. Serve with sour cream and extra salsa on the side.
