  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken (use rotisserie for convenience)
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • Fresh parsley or green onions for garnish (optional)
  • Optional Add-ons/Variations:
    • 1/4 cup cooked, crumbled bacon
    • 1/4 cup chopped broccoli or spinach
    • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
    • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix in the shredded chicken and cheddar cheese.
  3. Roll out crescent dough and place a spoonful of chicken mixture into each triangle. Roll up and place in the baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, mix cream of chicken soup, milk, and melted butter. Pour over the crescent rolls.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until crescents are golden brown and the sauce is bubbly.
  6. Garnish with parsley or green onions and serve.
