Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Combine wet ingredients: In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Slowly add to dry ingredients until smooth.
  4. Add boiling water: Gradually stir in boiling water (batter will be thin).
