Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1½ cups milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)

Cinnamon Swirl Mixture:

  • ¾ cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

Glaze:

  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 5 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk, eggs, vanilla, and melted butter until smooth. Pour into the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine softened butter, brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon for the swirl mixture. Drop spoonfuls over the batter and swirl with a knife.
  4. Bake for 35–40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  5. While the cake bakes, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to make the glaze.
  6. Once the cake is done, pour the glaze evenly over the warm cake. Allow it to cool slightly before serving.
