  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • Water, for sealing wontons

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese, green onions, garlic powder, and soy sauce until smooth.
  • Place a teaspoon of the mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
  • Wet the edges with water and fold to seal.
  • Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350°F (175°C).
  • Fry wontons in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve warm.
