Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked until crispy and crumbled
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped dill pickles or relish
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions (optional, for garnish)
  • Pretzel chips, tortilla chips, or veggies for serving

Instructions

  • Cook the Ground Beef: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  • Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked beef, crumbled bacon, softened cream cheese, 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar, sour cream, mayonnaise, diced tomatoes, pickles, onion, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, ketchup, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  • Bake the Dip: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, top with remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese, and bake for 20-25 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.
  • Garnish and Serve: Garnish with chopped green onions if desired. Serve hot with pretzel chips, tortilla chips, or veggies.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, use smoked bacon.
  • Substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream for a lighter option.
