This creamy Cajun salmon pasta recipe combines tender, flaky salmon with a spicy, creamy sauce and perfectly cooked pasta. Bursting with bold Cajun flavors, this easy and delicious dish is perfect for a quick yet satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ยฝ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • ยฝ tsp paprika
  • ยฝ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup spinach (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ยฝ cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Season salmon with Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook salmon for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add butter and garlic. Sautรฉ until fragrant.
  • Pour in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and broth. Stir until smooth.
  • Add cherry tomatoes, red pepper flakes, and spinach. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Flake the salmon into pieces and return to the skillet.
  • Toss in cooked pasta and mix well.

  • Finish with lemon juice and garnish with parsley. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Use smoked salmon for extra depth of flavor.
  • Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste for more or less spice.
