  • 300g pasta of choice
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tbsp of butter over medium heat. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tbsp butter and garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Stir in heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Add the Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.
  6. Return shrimp to the skillet and toss in the sauce. Add cooked pasta and toss to coat everything evenly.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and extra lemon zest. Serve immediately.
