  • 20 jumbo pasta shells

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 cup ricotta cheese

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 egg

  • 2 cups marinara sauce

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Cook pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  3. In a skillet, cook ground beef with garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning until browned. Drain excess fat.

  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta, egg, half of the mozzarella, Parmesan, salt, and pepper.

  5. Combine beef with ricotta mixture.

  6. Stuff each shell with the beef and cheese mixture.

  7. Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.

  8. Arrange stuffed shells on top. Cover with remaining marinara and mozzarella.

  9. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 10 minutes until bubbly.

  10. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

You can make this dish ahead of time and refrigerate before baking. Great for meal prep or freezing.
