  • Tomato Sauce: 1 can (8 oz)

  • Black Beans: 1 can (15 oz), drained and rinsed
  • Beef Broth: 1 cup
  • Chili Powder: 2 tablespoons
  • Ground Cumin: 1 tablespoon
  • Paprika: 1 tablespoon
  • Oregano: 1 teaspoon
  • Salt and Pepper: To taste
  • Cayenne Pepper: ยผ teaspoon (optional)
  • Worcestershire Sauce: 1 tablespoon (optional)
  • Bay Leaves: 1 or 2 (optional)
  • Sugar: 1 teaspoon (optional)
  • Corn: 1 cup (optional)
  • Beer: ยฝ cup (optional)
  • Jalapeรฑos: 1 or 2, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  • Add the chopped onion, garlic, and bell peppers, and sautรฉ until softened.
  • Transfer the beef mixture to the crockpot. Add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, beans, and beef broth.

  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
