Ingredients

  • Ground Beef (1 lb)
  • Onion (1 medium, diced)
  • Garlic (3 cloves, minced)
  • Bell Pepper (1, diced)
  • Kidney Beans (2 cans, drained and rinsed)
  • Tomato Sauce (1 can, 15 oz)
  • Diced Tomatoes (1 can, 15 oz)
  • Tomato Paste (2 tbsp)
  • Beef Broth (1 cup)
  • Chili Powder (2 tbsp)
  • Ground Cumin (1 tbsp)
  • Paprika (1 tbsp)
  • Oregano (1 tsp)
  • Salt and Pepper (to taste)
  • Optional Toppings: Shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped green onions, jalapeรฑos, cilantro

Instructions

  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  • Add diced onion and minced garlic to the beef, cooking until the onion is softened.
  • Transfer the beef mixture to the Crockpot. Add diced bell pepper, kidney beans, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and tomato paste.
  • Pour in the beef broth, then stir in chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  • Serve with your favorite toppings like shredded cheese, sour cream, or chopped green onions.
