  • 1 small onion (diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta shells according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onion and garlic, cooking until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add ground beef, season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce and beef broth. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Lower the heat, stir in heavy cream, and mix until combined.
  6. Add cooked pasta shells and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until cheese melts and the sauce is creamy.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground beef with ground turkey or sausage for a different flavor.
  • Adjust the cream and cheese to achieve your desired level of creaminess.
