Garlic Parmesan Steak Bites with Mashed Potatoes is a flavorful, protein-packed meal featuring juicy steak bites sautéed in garlic butter and tossed with parmesan, served over creamy mashed potatoes. Perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.
For the Steak Bites:
1 ½ lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
4 cloves garlic, minced
3 tbsp unsalted butter
2 tbsp olive oil
⅓ cup grated parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
For the Mashed Potatoes:
2 lbs Yukon gold potatoes, peeled and chopped
½ cup whole milk
4 tbsp butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Make the Mashed Potatoes: Boil potatoes in salted water until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and mash with milk, butter, salt, and pepper. Keep warm.
Prepare the Steak Bites: Season steak cubes with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak bites in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove from skillet.
In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and garlic, cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Return steak bites to the skillet, toss with garlic butter and parmesan cheese until well-coated.
Serve steak bites over mashed potatoes and garnish with chopped parsley.
Adjust garlic to your taste.
For extra richness, add cream to the mashed potatoes.
Use ribeye or tenderloin for more tenderness if preferred.
