  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice (about 1-2 limes)

  • 1 medium tomato, finely diced
  • 1/2 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin (optional)

Instructions

  • Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  • Add the lime juice and salt to the avocados. Mash together until you achieve the desired consistency.
  • Gently stir in the diced tomato, chopped red onion, cilantro, jalapeño (if using), garlic (if using), and ground cumin (if using).
  • Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt or lime juice as needed.
