This hamburger supreme casserole recipe is a family favorite, combining ground beef, cheese, and pasta for a hearty and satisfying meal. Perfect for weeknight dinners.

  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cups (190g) uncooked pasta
  • 2 cups (240g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (10.5 oz/300g) condensed tomato soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz/300g) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup (240ml) milk
  • 1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until beef is browned and onion is tender. Drain excess fat.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, uncooked pasta, cheddar cheese, tomato soup, cream of mushroom soup, and milk. Mix well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for the ground beef if preferred.
  • For added flavor, consider adding garlic powder or Italian seasoning to the mixture.
