  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuits
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • 1 can (4 oz) diced green chiles

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
  • Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain fat.
  • Add taco seasoning and water to beef, simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Press biscuit dough into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish to form the base.
  • Spread the seasoned beef mixture evenly over the dough.
  • In a bowl, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, onion, and bell pepper, and layer over the beef.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top, followed by diced tomatoes and green chiles.
  • Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes or until the biscuits are golden and cooked through.
  • Let the casserole cool for 5 minutes before serving.
