Judy's Strawberry Pretzel Salad is the perfect dessert blend of salty pretzels, creamy filling, and sweet strawberries. Easy to make and perfect for any occasion!
2 cups crushed pretzels
3/4 cup melted butter
3 tablespoons sugar
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
8 oz whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
2 cups boiling water
6 oz strawberry gelatin (Jell-O)
2 cups frozen sliced strawberries
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 3 tablespoons sugar. Press into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Bake for 10 minutes; cool completely.
Beat cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping.
Spread cream cheese mixture over cooled crust. Refrigerate until firm.
Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Stir in frozen strawberries until slightly thickened.
Pour gelatin mixture over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate until fully set.
Ensure pretzel crust is fully cooled before adding cream layer to prevent melting.
Can be made a day ahead for best results.
Substitute fresh strawberries if desired.
