  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 8 soft taco shells
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro (optional)

Instructions

  • Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add taco seasoning and water according to packet instructions. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
  • Lay out taco shells on a baking sheet. Spoon beef mixture onto each shell.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese over beef.
  • Fold taco shells in half and press edges to seal.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until cheese is melted and shells are crispy.
  • Remove from oven and let cool slightly.
  • Fill each taco with lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and salsa.
  • Add black olives and cilantro if desired. Serve immediately.
