This Margarita Cheesecake recipe combines the creamy richness of cheesecake with the refreshing flavors of a classic margarita, featuring tequila and lime for a zesty and indulgent dessert.

  • 2 cups crushed graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 tbsp lime zest
  • 1/4 cup tequila
  • 2 tbsp orange liqueur (such as Triple Sec)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C).
  • Mix graham crackers and melted butter, press into the bottom of a springform pan.
  • In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  • Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
  • Blend in sour cream, lime juice, lime zest, tequila, orange liqueur, and vanilla extract.
  • Pour mixture over crust in the springform pan.
  • Bake for 1 hour or until the center is set.
  • Turn off oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door slightly open.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
