  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, Parmesan cheese, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until evenly combined.
  3. Flatten the meat mixture onto a sheet of parchment paper into a rectangular shape, about 1/2-inch thick.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the center of the meat mixture.

  6. Spread marinara sauce over the top of the meatloaf.
  7. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  8. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
