    • 2 tablespoons butter
    • 250 grams (8 oz) mushrooms (button or cremini, sliced thinly)
    • 4 garlic cloves (minced)
    • 1/2 cup chicken broth
    • 1 cup heavy cream
    • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
    • Fresh parsley (chopped for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook the pasta according to package directions in salted water. Drain and set aside.
  • Season chicken with salt and black pepper. In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chicken until fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same pan, melt butter and sauté mushrooms until browned. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  • Pour in chicken broth, heavy cream, and thyme. Stir well and bring to a simmer. Cook until the sauce thickens.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted. Return the chicken to the pan, then toss in the cooked pasta. Mix everything together.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
