Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade blend)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeรฑos (optional)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream (optional)
  • 2 tbsp chopped cilantro (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
  2. Season the Beef: Add the taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water to the skillet. Stir and cook for 2-3 minutes, until the beef is fully seasoned and the water has evaporated.
  3. Warm the Tortillas: Heat the tortillas in the microwave or in a dry skillet for about 20 seconds, until warm and pliable.
  4. Assemble the Wraps: Spread 2-3 tablespoons of nacho cheese sauce onto each tortilla. Add a generous portion of seasoned beef in the center, followed by shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, jalapeรฑos, and any other desired toppings.
  5. Wrap it Up: Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll it tightly from the bottom to form a wrap.
  6. Serve: Serve immediately with a side of sour cream, extra nacho cheese, or salsa for dipping.

Notes

  • Customize your wraps by adding toppings like guacamole, black olives, or sliced avocados.
  • You can use ground turkey or chicken as a lighter alternative to beef.
  • For a crunchier texture, briefly toast the assembled wrap on a skillet until golden brown.
