This one-pot cheeseburger pasta recipe combines tender pasta, seasoned ground beef, and gooey cheese for a simple, satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 (14 oz) can diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups uncooked pasta (e.g., rotini or penne)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk or heavy cream
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot or skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add diced onion and garlic, cooking until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Stir in beef broth, diced tomatoes, uncooked pasta, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is cooked.
  5. Once pasta is tender, stir in milk or cream and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until cheese is melted and sauce is creamy.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with parsley if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
  • For extra flavor, add a splash of Worcestershire sauce.
  • Use any short pasta shape you prefer, such as macaroni or shells.
