Ingredients

  • Pumpkin Puree: 1 cup
  • Unsalted Butter: ยฝ cup, softened
  • Granulated Sugar: ยพ cup
  • Brown Sugar: ยฝ cup, packed
  • Vanilla Extract: 2 teaspoons
  • Egg: 1 large
  • All-Purpose Flour: 2 cups
  • Baking Soda: 1 teaspoon
  • Baking Powder: ยฝ teaspoon
  • Ground Cinnamon: 1ยฝ teaspoons
  • Ground Nutmeg: ยผ teaspoon
  • Ground Cloves: ยผ teaspoon
  • Salt: ยฝ teaspoon
  • Chocolate Chips: 1ยฝ cups

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the egg, pumpkin puree, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set and the centers are soft.
  • Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
