- 8 slices of bread
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 slices of mozzarella cheese
- Preheat your oven to 425ยฐF (220ยฐC).
- Spread butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place 4 slices, buttered side down, on a baking sheet.
- Add 1 slice of cheddar and 1 slice of mozzarella cheese to each bread slice.
- Top with the remaining bread slices, buttered side up.
- Place another sheet pan on top of the sandwiches and press lightly.
- Bake for 6-8 minutes, then remove the top sheet pan.
- Flip sandwiches and bake for an additional 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from oven, slice, and serve warm
