Summer Grilled Shrimp Skewers are the perfect seafood recipe for a hot day. Marinated in a flavorful mix of herbs and spices, these shrimp are grilled to perfection. Ideal for cookouts, BBQs, or a light dinner.
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Lemon wedges, for serving
In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, parsley, paprika, cayenne (optional), salt, and pepper.
Add shrimp to the marinade, tossing to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.
Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Thread shrimp onto skewers.
Grill shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side or until pink and opaque.
Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
For extra flavor, marinate for up to an hour.
Be careful not to overcook shrimp as they can become tough.
