Summer Grilled Shrimp Skewers are the perfect seafood recipe for a hot day. Marinated in a flavorful mix of herbs and spices, these shrimp are grilled to perfection. Ideal for cookouts, BBQs, or a light dinner.

 

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, parsley, paprika, cayenne (optional), salt, and pepper.

  2. Add shrimp to the marinade, tossing to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.

  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Thread shrimp onto skewers.

  4. Grill shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side or until pink and opaque.

  5. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate for up to an hour.

  • Be careful not to overcook shrimp as they can become tough.
