4 ripe peaches, sliced
4 cups water (for peach syrup)
1 cup sugar (or honey/maple syrup for natural sweetener)
4 cups water (for tea)
4 black tea bags
Ice cubes
Extra peach slices and mint for garnish (optional)
In a saucepan, combine sliced peaches, 4 cups water, and sugar. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10–15 minutes.
Strain the mixture to create a peach syrup and let it cool.
Brew black tea by boiling 4 cups of water, adding tea bags, and steeping for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags and let it cool.
In a pitcher, combine the cooled peach syrup and tea. Stir well.
Chill in the fridge for 1–2 hours.
Serve over ice with peach slices and mint if desired.
Adjust sweetness by modifying sugar or using natural alternatives.
Can be made in advance and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
