  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoni (optional)
  • Handful of fresh basil, chopped (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for added spice)

Homemade Pizza Sauce Ingredients:

  • 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425ยฐF (220ยฐC).
  • If making homemade pizza sauce, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Sautรฉ minced garlic until fragrant. Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, sugar, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
