Savor the deliciousness of Beef Stroganoff with Egg Noodles. This classic dish features tender beef, a creamy mushroom sauce, and buttery egg noodles, making it a comforting and satisfying dinner option.

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 12 oz egg noodles

Instructions

  • Cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the beef until browned, then remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter and sautรฉ onions, garlic, and mushrooms until tender.
  • Sprinkle flour over the vegetables, stirring well, then gradually add beef broth. Simmer until the sauce thickens.
  • Lower the heat and stir in sour cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add the cooked beef back to the skillet and combine with the sauce.
  • Serve the beef stroganoff over the cooked egg noodles. Enjoy!

  • Substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream for a lighter version.
