Cheeseburger sliders with Hawaiian rolls are the ultimate crowd-pleasing recipe. Made with juicy ground beef, melted cheddar cheese, and soft Hawaiian rolls, these sliders are baked to golden perfection. Perfect for game days, parties, or a quick weeknight meal!

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese (halved)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise (optional)
  • 1/4 cup ketchup (optional)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onions until the beef is browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
  3. Season the beef mixture with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and set aside.
  4. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half and place the bottom halves in a greased baking dish.
  5. Spread mayonnaise and/or ketchup on the bottom buns if desired.
  6. Evenly distribute the cooked beef mixture over the buns.
  7. Top with cheddar cheese slices, then place the top buns back on.
  8. Brush the tops of the buns with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden.
  11. Serve warm and enjoy!

  • Use ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
