  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken strips, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sautรฉ onions and mushrooms until softened. Add garlic and paprika, cooking for 1 minute.
  • Sprinkle flour over the mixture, stir, and cook for 1 minute. Gradually pour in chicken broth, stirring to combine.
  • Reduce heat to low, add sour cream and Worcestershire sauce, and stir until smooth.
  • Return chicken to the skillet and simmer for 5โ€“7 minutes, or until the sauce thickens and the chicken is fully cooked.
  • Serve over cooked noodles or rice and garnish with parsley if desired.
