This Sausage and Sweet Potatoes with Honey Garlic Sauce recipe is the perfect blend of sweet and savory. Roasted sweet potatoes and juicy sausage are tossed in a sticky honey garlic glaze for a simple, satisfying dinner. Great for busy weeknights and packed with flavor!
1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
3 tbsp honey
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Preheat oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC).
Toss sweet potatoes with 1 tbsp olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet and roast for 20 minutes.
While potatoes roast, mix honey, garlic, soy sauce, mustard, and vinegar in a small bowl.
In a skillet, heat remaining oil over medium heat. Add sausage slices and cook until browned, about 5โ7 minutes.
Remove sweet potatoes from oven, add sausage and pour honey garlic sauce over. Toss everything to coat.
Return to oven for another 10โ15 minutes until caramelized and tender.
